Hello,
I am a long time Chromecast and now Google TV streamer user. I upgraded to an Android TV streamer several months ago but I cannot get the casting function to work from my Android device, iPad, or my wife's iPhone. I have restarted my router, my phone, and even pain stakingly factory reset my Google TV streamer but still run into the same issue. When I attempt to cast from YouTube app on my phone my Google TV streamer is not listed. If I attempt to cast from Disney+, it is listed but will say "device busy". I have attempted to cast from my Google photos but that does not work either. I have several other "old" style Chromecasts throughout my home which I can successfully cast to.
I confirmed within settings that Casting is enabled. I'm stuck. I'm frustrated because I paid a premium for the new streamer but it can do the basic functions of the old Chromecasts.

Hi, Try checking that both devices are connected to the same wifi. I've had problems where one device (e.g. tv streamer) is connected standard wifi (2.4GHz) and the other (e.g. phone, tablet) is connected to the 5GHz option/channel or Guest wifi
More technical explanation - ensure both devices are on the same router wifi SSID and band.

Hi @Iceberg1,
Thanks for reaching out to the community. I'm sorry to hear you're having difficulties casting from your Google TV streamer to your phone because your streamer device is not listed when you try to cast from any streaming app on your phone. I understand this situation must be concerning, as you've checked the cast settings and confirmed that casting is enabled and that you can cast to your old Chromecast model. I appreciate the detailed information shared and the time taken to check the casting settings. No worries, let's work together to get this resolved. To help with that, I have a few questions for you:
Any additional details you can provide will be helpful.
Regards,
Jonathan
