Google box problems

Just set up box but when I switch it off it is switching off TV and sound bar.Any help please.Thanks.

Hi @Cliff33 

This sounds like the HDMI CEC feature, which allows devices connected via an HDMI cable to communicate and control each other, enabling you to use a single remote for multiple devices. That's why when you turn off your Google TV Streamer it also turns off your TV and soundbar.

You can change this in the settings:

1. Select the settings cog at the top right of the screen.
2. Select the settings cog again to show all settings.
3. Under "Display and sound" turn off "Enable HDMI-CEC".
