Hide Internet connection notifications

 This notification appears to me even though the device is connected to the Internet

Hello, my device is Chromecast with Google TV (4K) , it started when I used Chinese internet even with VBN , I see this notification all the time when i use the chromecast and I tried in the settings to hide all the notifications in my chromecast but I can’t

How do you connect to internet? Via WiFi or USB ethernet adapter?

Via Wi-Fi actually I am in China and I use Chinese Internet, but when I use VPN, the problem still

Hi yasirali609,

 

Thanks for the details. That is a system message indicating that it lost an internet connection. Although the interruption is very brief, it would still show up. It will keep showing up in every instance that it happens. The system messages can’t be turned off. It’s the network connection that needs to be checked.

 

Give the steps below a try and let me know how it goes:

 

  • Reboot your Wi-Fi router.
  • Reboot your Chromecast.
  • Ensure that your TV is within 15 feet of the router or access point.
  • Remove anything that may be causing interference.
