I came home today and Chromecast was not connecting to supported apps. I followed all of the troubleshooting steps and made sure my flip 4 was connected to the same wifi and it was. I removed the device from Home app and now it can't find the chromecast although it's still showing weather and time on my screen. Now we can't watch tv because it won't find the device. Please Help!

Update: it's working on my son's iPhone but not my flip 4

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. Based on your description, it seems that your Chromecast device is working as intended. The fact that your son’s iPhone can cast to your Chromecast means that it’s all working well. Chances are, it’s your Flip 4 phone that could be using mobile data or has an IP address that is not recognized by the network. But since you deleted it from the Google Home App, it would be best to do a factory reset and then set it up from scratch. Let me know how it goes.
