You cannot remove a device from the Cast list. That list is dynamic and always shows you every device that is currently available and ready to receive a cast.
The only way around that is to either turn off the device or put it on a different network. Check with your internet provider. Your wifi may be able to create more than one network Then, you could put that problematic device on its own network and only see it when you connect to that network.
