How to cast rte player

I've watched first series of KIN on BBC and I'm trying to watch series 2 on the rte player..yet the cast button is not lit up, I cannot use it, and do not want to wat h whole series on my phone.

Now I do not want to download umpteen different apps to try and cast ghe series, I'd just like to know which one would definitely work for me..I can cast YouTube no problem, but although the same button is at top of my screen while watching RTE player, it won't work..

I'd really appreciate someone's help on this..
