I can't cast from chrome macbook

I can't cast YouTube, Netflix, or any other site from the MacBook Chrome to the Chromecast. But it works normally from the iPhone. What is happening? Chrome is up to date, as is the MacBook.

A few things to check to get this to work properly.

1. Make sure your version of Chrome is up to date.

2. Check to make sure your MacBook is on the same wireless network as the Chromecast.

3. Use the Cast button that is built into the website you are trying to cast, and not the casting option in Chrome that mirrors your MacBook screen.

• When you try to cast, do you see an error code?
