- Are you at a place of business, hotel, school, or dorm?
- Are you using a WiFi hotspot?
- Is this a new installation?
- What Chromecast model do you have?
Please follow the troubleshooting steps:
- Check placement: Ensure your Chromecast is within 15-20 feet of your Wi-Fi router and your setup device.
- Reboot devices: Restart your Wi-Fi router and Chromecast.
- Toggle WiFi: Turn Wi-Fi off and on on your setup device.
- Try a different band: If you have a dual-band router, try setting up Chromecast on the 2.4 GHz band.
- Factory reset (again): Perform a factory reset on your Chromecast.
