Incorrect wifi password

I definitely entered the correct PW several times and it always said incorrect PW. 
Several other devices connect using household wifi and same PW. Any ideas?

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. A few questions: what Chromecast device do you have connected to your TV? Is this the first time you've connected this to this network? Have you successfully set it up before on a different network? What steps have you taken?

 

Give the steps below a try and let me know how it goes:

 

  • Reinstall the Google Home app.
  • Test with another phone or device to isolate.
  • Reboot your phone or device, Chromecast, and Wi-Fi router.
  • If it persists, try a factory reset, then re-set it up.
  • Set it up on a mobile hotspot.
