Very weird one...
I use Google router pro, I'm very security conscious and have changed WiFi names and passwords and have never given any neighbours my password.
Neighbours Sony Bravia TV shows up on the Google home app front page (but not listed in WiFi devices) when he casts music to his TV.
Neighbour point black denies he's connecting.
The last time he did this, I increased the volume on his TV to 100%, I was in my home...he immediately turned it back down.
I could hear the TV volume and could see from the Google home app what he was listening to.
After my fourth increase of his tv he finally disconnected the device.
Any ideas how he managed to connect? Any ideas why the device doesn't show in the list of connected devices?

They may be connecting via Bluetooth to listen to music so that may be something you can look into. That wouldn't be a connected device so would not show in your device list.

Thanks, certainly a possibility...I just wonder why my network clearly picked it up, and informed me on my phone. This had also happened when I was 50 miles away...I could even change their volume! 🤣🙈
