I bought the new TV streamer and I cannot get Dolby Atmos sound from the usual sources.
My Gen 3 Chromecast dongle passes through Atmos fine from Amazon Music Plus and Apple TV, but no such luck from the new streamer, no matter how I set up my hardware.
Is this a bug or is it intentional? If intentional (which I suspect) it's just ridiculous. What kind of a messed up world is this where companies are purposely degrading products and the customer experience in a puerile bid to hurt the competition? Unbelievable. I really hope it's just a bug and will be fixed soon.
