Pink hue on Chromecast TV screen

My chromecast usually works perfectly fine and don't normally have any problems however tonight my Chromecast has developed a weird pink hue to it. I double checked it wasn't my TV as that is showing fine on my freeview normal TV side. 

I tried going through display settings, unplugging cast device and plugging back in and final resort factory resetting my Chromecast which has still made no difference.

Since taking this picture of the pink hue I've since fiddled more however instead of pink it's not much better as now it's a blue hue and screen seems very dark... I've now even turned up the brightness on my actual TV settings and absolutely no difference. 

Please help me, I use my Chromecast to watch everything.

Thanks for posting and for being a step ahead of us. Since you’ve done troubleshooting the Chromecast device, let’s identify if this is related to its HDMI communication on the TV. Kindly try different HDMI ports and ensure that nothing is blocking them (dirt, dust, etc.). You can also isolate it by testing on another TV. There is no need to set it up on another TV; just check if the discoloration will still appear while it shows the setup screen. Let us know how it goes.
