Problem to cast from PC to TV

Hi all, I'm having this error: "failed to cast please try again", on my two browser (Chroome and Edge), trying to cast from my Laptop to my Smart tv.

I downloaded on my Laptop the "Cast to Google Cast" app, 2 years ago and i never had problems.

I already tried several solution ( Make sure that your Chromecast is on the latest version, Restart Chrome, Restart your computer, Restart your Chromecast, Restart your WiFi router}, that i found in this comunity, but no one is working for me, unfortunatly.

Could please someone help me to found a way to solve this problem?

Hey there HelpAdrianopls,

I apologize about the late response, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that casting issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, as this can be tricky to troubleshoot on your own. Just to confirm, are you using Windows 10 or 11? If so, I would double-check your Network Discovery settings for your private network. You can find these settings by going to your Windows Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi > Change advanced sharing options > Private > Network discovery > Turn on network discovery.
