Problemas Audio Espacial con Chromecast 3G-

Hola.

Alguien me ayuda....?Gracias

Hi @FelixGarro,

Troubleshooting Spatial Audio Issues with Chromecast 3G
I understand you're having trouble with spatial audio when using a Chromecast 3G connected to an audio extractor and home theater setup. Let's work through the troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue:
1. Verify HDMI Audio Settings:
Ensure the Chromecast 3G is set to output HDMI audio. This can usually be done in the Chromecast settings menu. Check for options like "HDMI Audio" or "Audio Output" and select "HDMI."
2. Audio Extractor Configuration:

  • Source Code Setting:
Locate the audio extractor's settings menu to check for the "HDMI Input Audio Format" or "Source Code" setting. If available, set it to "Source Code." This allows the extractor to process the raw audio data from the Chromecast for spatial audio decoding.
Note: The specific menu path and setting name may vary depending on the audio extractor model. Consult the user manual or manufacturer's website for detailed instructions.

  • Audio Output Format:
Confirm that the audio extractor's output format is compatible with your home theater system. For spatial audio, ensure the extractor is set to output formats like Dolby Atmos or DTS:X. Refer to your home theater's specifications for supported audio formats.
    3. Home Theater Settings:
Access the home theater's settings menu and ensure it is configured to receive and decode spatial audio. Check for options like "Audio Input," "Speaker Setup," or "Surround Sound." Select the appropriate input and enable spatial audio processing.
    4. Netflix Audio Settings:
Within the Netflix app or website, verify that the audio output is set to "5.1 Surround" or "Dolby Atmos" (if available) for the content you're trying to play. This ensures Netflix is sending the appropriate spatial audio data to the Chromecast.
    5. Cable Connections:
Double-check all HDMI and optical cable connections to ensure they are secure and properly plugged into the respective ports on the Chromecast, audio extractor, and home theater. Loose or damaged cables can cause audio disruptions.
    6. Device Updates:
Ensure the Chromecast 3G, audio extractor, and home theater system are all running the latest firmware or software updates. Updates often include bug fixes and performance improvements that can resolve compatibility issues.
    7. Alternative Audio Connection:
Temporarily try connecting the Chromecast 3G directly to the home theater's HDMI input without the audio extractor. If spatial audio works in this setup, it indicates an issue with the audio extractor or its configuration.
    8. Seek Professional Assistance:
If the issue persists after trying all the above steps, consider contacting the customer support for Chromecast, the audio extractor manufacturer, or your home theater system provider. They may have specific troubleshooting steps or identify compatibility issues with your specific devices.
Remember, spatial audio compatibility depends on the capabilities of each device involved in the audio chain. Ensure all components are compatible with the desired spatial audio formats and properly configured to work together.

If for some reason you still have the same problem don't hesitate to let us know.

Regards,

Mario.

Estimado.

Muchas gracias
