As anyone may already know, the Google TV Streamer supports Quick Media Switching since it's an HDMI 2.1b compliant device, however, it seems the implementation is not working correctly, at least on my TV.
I have an Hisense A6N tv which is also HDMI 2.1b compliant and it supports VRR as well as Quick Media Switching, where I notice is some jumps while videos play, it happens with all apps I've tested and it affects the 23.976 Hz, 24 Hz, 25 Hz, 29.97 Hz, 30 Hz and 50 Hz (59,94 Hz and 60 Hz are not affected).
I was able to record a video with my phone while playing a 30 Hz video, where the frequency changes seamlessly without any black screens and where the jumps can be seen every 2 seconds, but it's even worse with the other frequencies, specially the 23.976 Hz, 24 Hz and 25 Hz.
The video was uploaded to Imgur since it's not possible to upload it on this website: Quick Media Switching on Google TV Streamer
It's important to clarify that motion interpolation is turned off in order to observe the issue though the TV doesn't allow to use motion interpolation anyway when using Quick Media Switching.
I've been unable to watch movies or TV shows because the issue is unbearable.
I hope that this is escalated to the appropriate team for a resolution so I can enjoy the device as it should.
Thanks!.

Hello Melany,
Why the Google Home app? 🤔
I just hope the issue gets escalated to an engineer in charge of the Google TV Streamer firmware development.
Thanks.
