Randomly, chromecast pauses YouTube 1 sec after clicking play, over & over again

The issue doesn't happen with other apps, just YT, & it works fine on my phone, but it happens on both of my Chromecasts every 1-2 days for the last 2-3 yrs (1 on smart tv & 1 on regular tv).

Things I've tried:

• factory reset Chromecast

• clear phone YT cache

• redownload phone TY app

• restart phone

• factory reset tv

• factory reset phones

• 3 different phones over the yrs

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. You mentioned that this is only happening on the YouTube app, and both Chromecast devices are affected. You’ve already tried different troubleshooting steps, even factory resetting the Chromecast devices. Since all other apps are working, I don’t think it’s the Chromecast devices. Give our friends at the YouTube Help Community a shout. There might be helpful threads or other users that have encountered this and may have shared answers and solutions.
