COMPLIMENTI

When can we expect the fix to be rolled out, and how are you going to communicate to the users. I was under assumption that google has the best engineers in the world but I changed my opinion now.

It is Thursday and still not working?! How long does it take Google?

Devo comprarlo nuovo?

If you've already factory reset your device, you can use a workaround by setting the date to March 8 or earlier on your mobile device, then reconnecting your Chromecast using the Google Home app.
But this still won't fix the casting issue itself.
Honestly, shame on Google!

My chromecast is not workjng

This worked perfectly, thanks! For anyone who factory reset, set your device date to March 8th or earlier, then try setting it up. Kudos, hopefully this message gets spread around more because this forum is laggy and bad. I had to dig to find your comment after waiting for it to load the page like I was on dial up.

Thanks. What do you mean by Set your device date to 8 March or earlier. Do you mean the Chromecast device? How to set the date to  8th March ? Thank you

Thanks this worked and now I have it connected again 😄!!

I reset my device (android) date to 8 March, reconnected Chromecast, then reset my date to auto select.

Then it worked
