Hello, I'm back with a clarification, I searched to see if anything was solved and I saw that I can project the image from my phone to the TV but when I wanted to watch a movie on Netflix it doesn't connect. It knows it's connecting but it doesn't project anything. What could be the cause?
03-14-2025 10:46 AM
Yes, it is now working. Thank you so much. I believe we all will not face this issue soon and certificate would have long expiry date

I did a factory reset, but the solution that a user posted on Reddit to enable setting the device up again, which worked for me (Chromecast Audio):
- Set mobile device system date to 7th of March
- Open the Home app, and go through the Chromecast setup
- Once finished, reset the device date to automatic
Streaming still doesn't work, but at least the setup is done, and ready for the update from Google.

I've reset my device to fabric.
Hiw i fixed it. Manual set date on your phone or device on march 8th. Install your device again.
Once you did this, it will be able to update.
Worked for me. My gen 2 is back!

Thank you. I am now able to connect to all three of my Chromecast Audio devices. I needed to unplug them, wait a minute and then plug them back in to power. The devices reconnected to WIFI and then it seems they "updated" (after connecting to WIFI the indicator light blinked orange a few times then turned white). I could then "see" them as active on my Google Home. I am now casting my music to all of them.
Cheers.

A few minutes ago I unplugged my Chromecast Audio, wait for 2 minutes and I plugged it again: it works!!!!
