I have been told that you are working on a fix for “Chromecast unable to connect to local network”. When you people are going to fix it or shall I buy Amazon fire TV?

I was able to fix the error thanks to AI advice. The problem appeared on 9 March 2025. I reset Chromecast to factory settings, then manually changed the date on my phone to 8 March 2025, chromecast updated, then returned the date to the automatic date and time settings. Now everything works.

purtroppo ho resettato il Chrome cast, , Avvisami per gli aggiornamenti da inviare in questo caso

The solution is to change the date on your phone (in the settings). I set it to March 3, 2025. Then open the Google Home app again, and the setup should work without any problems.

Cuando se restablecerá ??
03-17-2025 10:27 AM
I have reset my Chromecast 2, I will appreciate your instructions to solve the problem
03-17-2025 10:42 AM
Hey, then you're in the same situation as me. I also reset it to factory settings. So the Google update doesn't help because it's no longer connected to the internet. Connect the Chromecast as usual, and you should be prompted to install the Google Home app on your phone to start the setup. But that always failed, and the authentication failed. The solution is to change the date on your phone (in the settings). I set it to March 3, 2025. Then open the Google Home app again and the setup should work without any problems. After that, you can change your phone date again. I hope it works for you as it did for me. Best regards, C. Flesch

Infatti secondo me ci stanno solo facendo perder tempo.
