Screencasting from Pixel 4A Chrome browser gets dropped by Chromecast

Hi - I'll be casting a video playing in Chrome on my Pixel 4a phone to Chromecast, and often Chromecast will get "stuck."  That is, audio keeps playing but the frame freezes.  Both Pixel 4a and Chromecast have the latest OS updates as well as latest Chrome update on phone.  Phone is 6 feet away from the Chromecast.   Only way to fix the problem is to either stop/start video on the phone (doesn't always work) or restart the browser (doesn't always work) or sometimes restart the phone.  Power-cycling the Chromecast sometimes also works.

Hey there mchesleyjohnson,

I apologize for the late response, and thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that casting issue? If not, I'd be happy to help you out. Now, when this issue occurs, does it only occur on one particular website, or all websites? In any case, go ahead and clear out the cached app data on the Google Chrome app. I would also try casting from Google Chrome on another device so we can narrow down the issue to either your phone or the Chromecast.
