I recently purchased and set up a Google TV 4K streamer, and I noticed that it only shows results from YouTube, so I tried to access the "Searchable Apps" setting, but it seems to be broken and keeps loading forever.
I have already tried restarting the device, updating the software, clearing the cache of the individual apps as well as the google system app and even performing a factory reset, but the problem persists.
I really need help here as the unified search was the main selling point for me to buy this product.

Is the Google TV Streamer (4K) directly plugged into an HDMI port of the TV set?
What is the status of the Chromecast LED light?
How far from the router is your Google TV Streamer (4K)?
How many Mbps is your internet connection speed?
Have you tried to use your Google TV Streamer (4K) on a different TV? Does it show the same behavior?
Could you please share some pictures of the trouble?
