Settings not "sticky" on TV streamer

After one day of using a new Google TV streamer I knew I had to customize some settings. I used the settings>>sound menu to turn on auto-volume levelling (because commercials on Paramount+ are about 30% louder than the content) and then turned on closed captioning. Here are my results:

1) Closed captioning only lasted until the next time I turned on the television, ergo, "not sticky."

2) Auto-levelling appeared to reduce the commercial volume to about 20% louder than content, but also only lasted until the next time I turned on the set. Again, "not sticky."

I know from experience with fitbit that alpha's programming team does not use their products like I do.  Is this just another case of someone thinking "oh, I wouldn't really want that, so I'll turn it off for them"? IF so, that's not very helpful!

Hi Scmrak,

Thank you for posting in the community. I understand your concern about having to re-enable your preferred auto-volume leveling and closed captioning settings each time you power on your TV with your Google TV Streamer 4K. Let's see what I can do.

Your thoughts are invaluable as we continuously look for ways to enhance the user experience. Please consider submitting your suggestions and observations through the feedback form so they can directly influence future updates.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.
