The issue - or a similar one - seems to be pooping off once more.
Regardless of the streaming app (Europe based) device (Apple/Android/Windows) platform I cannot connect to the Cromecast devices (both 2nd gen.)
The three “bows” in the icon blink/rolls. For some apps it’s perhaps going on for ~10 seconds, others keep trying “connecting….” until the app is shutdown or the like.
I didn’t restore to factory default once the original issue manifested itself thus once the certificate-update was rolled out the device updated on its own accord and since then and up until today the devices have functioned normally.
