Sony TV does not recognixe google tv streamer

My Sony TV does not recognize the google TV streamer. The sony is updated to the latest Android.  The Tv had Roku before with no issues.

• Do you have a dual-band router?
• Is the Google TV Streamer connected to the 5 GHz connection?

Thanks Jenny, I reset the TV to factory settings and that worked.

Had the same issue with my Sony! Try enabling HDMI-CEC (Bravia Sync) in settings  that usually fixes it. Make sure it's in the right HDMI port and restart both devices. Works great once set up, especially for running a cinema streaming app  to watch free HD movies on your big screen!
