I had the same problem. Reached out to Samsung and the error codes being thrown were pointing to an internet connection issue. Still went through Samsung SmartThings app troubleshooting with support tech. When problem persisted )same day), I contacted my ISP. They sent a tech out and he replaced my router (which was bad), with a WiFi7 router. That solved the problem. So, Samsung was correct in pointing to an internet connection issue. Hope this helps.

Hi @Dgal!

Thank you for posting in the community, and to @Champ for the recommendations! I'm sorry to hear that your Samsung soundbar keeps disconnecting from your Google TV Streamer. I'm happy to help you!

To help me find the best solution, I'll need to ask you a few questions:

  • How often does the soundbar disconnect? Is it multiple times a day, once a day, or less frequent?
  • Does it happen during specific types of content (e.g., streaming, gaming, live TV)?
  • Does it happen after a certain amount of time, or is it completely random?
  • When did this issue start? Did it coincide with any software updates or changes to your setup?
  • Is your Google TV Streamer updated to the latest software version available?
  • Is your soundbar a wired or Bluetooth setup?

Please keep me posted. I'll be waiting for your response.

Best regards,
Geremi

  • Multiple times per day.
  • Totally random
  • No specific content.
  • Not related to any updates.
  • Streamer has had recent software update.
  • Soundbar is bluetooth

Thanks

Hi @Dgal!

Thank you for the update.

I would like to obtain some additional information to provide you with the steps to follow.

  • Do you get any error messages when your Samsung soundbar disconnects?
  • Have you performed any troubleshooting steps?
  • What is the exact model number of your Samsung soundbar?
  • Are there any other devices connected to your TV that use CEC?

Please keep me posted. I'll be waiting for your response.

Best regards,
Geremi

No error messages. Just a notification that the soundbar has disconnected.

What troubleshoot steps should I try?

It's a HW-R450 soundbar.

No other devices connected CEC. Just the google tv streamer and soundbar.

Hi @Dgal!

I appreciate the details you provided.

When you turn off your Google TV streamer, the Bluetooth connection automatically disconnects because the device is no longer powered and actively broadcasts a signal to maintain the connection; this is normal behavior for most Bluetooth devices. If the problem happens when the device is on as well, we can try some troubleshooting steps.

To try to isolate the problem, please try connecting your Samsung soundbar to another Bluetooth device. Check to see if the connection problem or irregular behavior you describe is repeated with this new device. It is important to rule out whether the issue is specific to the soundbar or if it is related to compatibility with other devices.

If the problem persists when connecting the soundbar to other devices, we recommend that you contact Samsung technical support directly. They will be able to offer you specialized assistance and, if necessary, carry out a review of the equipment.

Please keep me posted. I'll be waiting for your response.

Best regards,
Geremi

Sorry, but that was it the problem as I understood it and experienced it. The problem was: “DISCONNECTED FROM WIWFI” exactly as itt appeared on display.  This is not  Samsung issue. Samsung is exonerated. Rest, my friend. 😊
