Strange bug in HBO Max app: tab with devices does not move into screen

ok I have a strange bug in HBO Max: whenever I try to cast from my tablet I have tphe cast icon, but when I touch it the tab where I can select the chromecast does not move entirely into the screen: only the top with the title. I attached a screendump. I can't move the tab higher, I tried restarting and have checked for updates. All other casting apps and google Home work fine. Thanks for posting and for being a step ahead of us. A few questions: what Chromecast device are you using? When did it start? Did you get any messages? Which device did you restart (Chromecast or tablet)?

 

Give the steps below a try and let me know how it goes:

 

  • Reinstall the HBO Max app.
  • Perform a sequential reboot (Chromecast, tablet, and router).
  • Try with another device.
  • Try a factory reset, then re-setup.
  • You can also try connecting it to a mobile hotspot to isolate it.
