I recently purchased theGoogle streamer. My husband and I have separate profiles, I find when he installs an app, it shows on my profile. If I delete an app, it’s deleted from his profile. I don’t understand why the point is of having separate profiles if we can’t customize something basic like apps. Am I missing something?

Hi @Darcyl603,
Thanks for reaching out to the community. I'm sorry to hear you're having difficulties with how your streaming apps are managed across different profiles on your Google TV Streamer, because when you delete an app from your profile, it's also being deleted from other profiles. I understand the importance of having multiple profiles to personalize your experience and content recommendations. No worries, I'd be more than glad to share more details with you.
All standard profiles on your streamer device share the apps installed on your Google TV Streamer. This means that if an app is installed by one user, it will be accessible to others, and similarly, uninstalling an app will remove it for everyone (with the exception of apps specific to Kids Profiles). You can help us to improve our devices by sending feedback using the following link: Feedback form. It helps us develop new features, improve existing ones, and ensure our devices are meeting your needs.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Regards,
Jonathan
