Streamer saying not valid password

Hi hope you can help

New google tv streamer arrived today (we did have a chromexast no issues)

When going through setup either manually using the tv or through the Google home app automatically on my phone when it gets to the stage of connecting to my wifi its says my password is not valid..... 

So I'm unable to complete setup

To get a better understanding of the situation, please help me out by answering the following questions: 

  • What device are you using to complete the setup, and what's the OS version (iOS or Android)?
  • How far is the streaming device from the Wi-Fi router?

In the meantime, try to check these tips. 

  • Ensure you’re using the correct Wi-Fi password. 
  • Verify if the password contains special characters.
  • Verify that you’re not putting additional spaces in your Wi-Fi password. 
  • Ensure that you’re choosing the right Wi-Fi connection.

Any additional details you can provide will be helpful.
