Even after 5 years, this problem is still not solving.
I asked for a support recently, and the support said that there was some hardware problem. And then the following email said that your remote is currently out of its warranty.
So I brought a new one, but it is still not working.
How much time do google need to fix this small problem?
My research is, the CEC power off in TCL TV is broken or locked. While the IR signal (TCL TV setting no.1) of chromecast remote is far too weak that it can only functional inside 1 inch from TV.
A small patch to enhance the IR signal can easily fix this problem, but 5 years has passed, WTF?
