You can't. It's absolutely ridiculous. I'm stuck with my same network name now and can't change it as id have to set everything up again, it's like these have been designed by a child without real world intelligence.

Folks,
We get that you are frustrated, but we ask that you watch the language and name calling. That is against the policies because this is an open forum, anyone can read what you right, and we get kids here.
We do not want to have to delete your questions without offering an answer.
Here are the instructions on how to change your WiFi network:

Pino, you didn't provide much information so I'm going to have to guess on what is happening. You marked that you have a 1st Gen Chromecast device. Those only work on 2.4GHz networks. You cannot use 5GHz networks and may not work with routers that do combined 2.4 and 5 on the same ID. If you do not want to update to a newer (less than 10 years old) Chromecast, you may want to try a wifi extender that only generates a 2.4 network. That's what I had to do with some old pool equipment when I got a new router.
Otherwise, give us details on what you are doing, where you are getting stuck, and any error message you are getting and we'll do our best to help you.
