Hello all,
it looks like devices with Google TV 14 no longer support USB3 to Gbit ethernet adapters (both the RTL8153 and AX88179). It's not only the Chromecast with ATV14, but it's also confirmed on Philips TVs with ATV14. Is this a bug in ATV14 or this was done intentionally?
On ATV 12 (and previous versions) this worked flawlessly. It does make sense to connect Chromecast via LAN cable. TVs are not mobile devices. It's better to connect them via cable where possible.
And... the Philips and other Android TVs do have LAN, but usually just 100Mbit one and that's not enough for playing UHD content with higher bitrates from NAS.

Can confirm this is also the case on my Philips 48OLED808 with ATV14. USB3 Gbit ethernet adapter used to work fine in ATV12.

Hello,
I can confirm as well.
These adapters were OK and working without issues on Philips 65OLED819 on AndroidTV 12... but none of these works after updating to AndroidTV 14. They turn on, LEDs are blinking, but the TV does not recognise.

When will Google release a patch to fix the bugs? It's been a long time.
