Unable to Cast Screen to Google TV

While on the Google Home app, I am unable to cast my mobile screen (display mirroring) to my Google TV Chromecast. I am able to see the Chromecast in the "Devices" section, but when I try holding on the tile and clicking "Cast my Screen", nothing happens. There was a workaround previously to reset the Wifi connection on the Chromecast but even that solution no longer works.  I have tried clearing cache + updating both the Home app and Google TV to their latest versions.

I am able to cast from other apps such as YouTube, VLC; however, I am getting problems specifically with the Google Home app.
