Unable to cast from laptop after upgrading chromecast to Android 14.  All I get are a bunch of zigzag lines across the screen

I am having this issue as well. the previous version of the android has no issue at all until the device is auto updated to this android 14! Like you said, zigzag lines when casting the laptop screen from chrome, not able to view at all. Google please fix it!!!

Which Chromecast device do you have?
- Chromecast with Google TV 4K

What is the firmware version of your Chromecast device?
- 3.72.446070

Is the Google Chrome browser version updated?
- Yes. Version 134.0.6998.89 (Official Build) (64-bit)

I just tried to cast it and it is still the same. Please help.

I have the same problem Chrome is up to date Version 134.0.6998.166 (Official Build) (arm64)

Should be Chromecast issue, not chrome. I tried it from Edge also the same. Google needs to fix it with a new update!

Seems like no one really care about this anymore. No reply, no fix, no whatever. Nothing.

Any update!? Just updated my android tv to find out chromecast is broken now
