I have a Vizio 50inch Tv and an Acer Aspire 5 laptop and both were working fine until my Tv updated. After it did, I started noticing at the bottom of the screen the word, "Chromecast." Since then, I've been unable to make the picture on the Tv "optimize to full screen." I use Microsoft Edge for browsing, but it's modeled after google chrome so that probably isn't the problem. When i cast to the Tv it shows the picture up in the top, left corner of the Tv screen with no option or a popup to make it go full screen? PLEASE HELP!!! I use my Tv to view stuff pretty often.

Hi Billy45,
Thanks for reaching out and for doing some steps beforehand — these are of great help! To confirm, do you have a separate Chromecast device that is plugged in on your TV or your Vizio has a built-in Chromecast?
Chromecast-enabled sites will generally try to automatically switch from casting a tab to an optimized mode of operation if you are already casting a tab when you visit the site.
Give these steps a try:
If the issue persists and you only have a TV that has a built-in Chromecast, please reach out to your TV manufacturer for additional help.
Thanks,
Jennifer
