I have Google TV on two devices: My kitchen TV and my media room TCL 4K with Google TV. My practice is to use the option to "hide" movies I have already watched, but for some reason I have two movies that will not hide. (I have dozens of other movies that I have been able to hide without any problems,) This probem persist regardless of the Google TV platform. I have tried swapping out the Google TV Chromecast on my kitchen TV, and resetting my TCL with Google TV, without luck.
Any idea what is causing this problem and how to fix it?

I followed up with Google support and, while it took a bit of work on their end to identify what caused the problem, they did come up with two related solutions — depending on which of two different Google TV platforms I use.
The underlying problem was that my Google account was not properly automatically syncing the movie data.
The first solution was for my TCL 4K with Google TV. Using my Pixel inhsmartphone I had to turn off automatic syncing and then manually resync my account, by manually resetting the date and time to an incorrect date and time, and then turning automatic syncing back on! The effect was to resync my account and with that I could hide the two movies in question.
The second solution was for my Google HD Chromecast in use with my kitchen TV. Once my account was resynced (above), I had to do a factory reset of the Chromecast and that resolved the problem on that device.
(Kudos to Google for prompt, patient, excellent support on this issue.)

I have to take the recommended solution back! Inexplicably, the problem with hiding the two movies as resurfaced and the solution Google recommended earlier no longer works. (I tried everything I did before, believe me.) Waiting for updated feedback from Google on this issue.
