Volume button doesn't work for Chromecast with GoogleTV HD

Hello, I bought a Chromecast with Google TV(HD, Snow) recently but everything other than the volume buttons seems to function as they should. I still have to rely on my universal tv remote for volume while using chromecast. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated 🙂
