When will guest mode issues get resolved

  • Seems that many people reported issues with guest mode pin not showing up.   I've tried all the recommendations but nothing works.   Was the reason I purchased the product, very sad it doesn't work and appears to have been a problem for about a year.

Thanks for reaching out. Let's check this further. 

 

A few questions: what type of Chromecast device do you have? What is the make and model of your mobile device and its OS version? What troubleshooting steps have you done so far? In the meantime, 

 

  1. Go to Devices and select your Chromecast.
  2. Verify that Guest Mode is enabled on your device.
  3. If it's enabled but the PIN still isn't showing, restart the Chromecast, then wait two minutes for the PIN to show up. The Pin should appear in the Google Home app and on the Chromecast backdrop.
