Wifi connection

I am using an app to control my chromecast and am unable to connect the chromecast to my WiFi as I'm unable to find my device in the available network listing on my app and because I cannot connect to the WiFi I cannot use my control via the app. Somebody please help me...!!

Did you try to set up the device with these steps?

Step 1. Plug in your Chromecast device.

  • Plug Chromecast into your TV.
  • Connect the USB power cable to your Chromecast.
  • Plug the other end of the USB power cable into the included power adapter, then plug it into a wall outlet.

Step 2. Download the Google Home app.

Step 3.Follow the Chromecast setup instructions.
Step 4. Cast content
