YouTube video keeps playing even after I stop casting from my phone

I got a new Chromecast with Google TV (HD). Casting YouTube video from my iPhone's YT app to Chromecast works fine. However, when I stop casting on my iPhone, the video momentarily stops on Chromecast but then restarts and continues playing. How do I make it so that it stops playing on Chromecast when I stop casting (just as how it works with older Chromecast models).

Thanks for posting. Is this only happening when casting from YouTube or across all apps? Please try to uninstall and reinstall the YouTube app and reboot your iPhone and Chromecast with Google TV (HD). Casting from a different mobile phone such as a non iOS device might also help in isolating the issue.

No, the steps did not resolve the issue. It looks like a bug in the newer versions of Android OS. I don't have an Android device, so tried all the steps from an iPhone 14 Pro. Also tried Factory Reset but nothing worked. Same behavior.
