chromecast HD Problem - Green side (left and right) while casting screen from two different laptop.

Hi all,

Recently, I've been having this problem with Casting from Chromecast HD, seems like having a green side banner (left and right) while casting the screen, I tried from two different laptops still the same. it isn't like this before.

There is nothing wrong while casting from the tab, but I need to cast from the screen for different reasons.

Tried to update, but no new update is still available from the system or app.

Kindly need urgent support on this.🙏

TV Brand: Hisense smart TV
laptop: infinity gaming laptop & Dell laptop.

I'm having the same issue. I've tried the scale I've tried resolution no success on getting it fixed. I'm still looking for a fix as well

  • Have there been any recent changes to your WiFi network or home environment?

  • Would you kindly confirm whether your Chromecast streaming device is linked to a 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz WiFi network?
  • Is the Google Chrome browser updated on your laptops?
  • What is the OS version of your laptops?
  • Have you tried using the Chromecast streaming device on a different TV? Does it show the same behavior?

      i think around 2-3 weeks ago
    • Are you using an Android or an iPhone to control your Chromecast streaming device?
      from laptop as mention, (but the chromecast HD have an white small controller if this it what you are asking)

      No, dont think so.

      Couldnt find the answer as i use laptop to cast on TV
    • Would you kindly confirm whether your Chromecast streaming device is linked to a 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz WiFi network?
      i think is 5Ghz, dont know how to check, but my wifi is 107/18mbps speed
    • Is the Google Chrome browser updated on your laptops?

      window 11.

      did on Sony TV as well, same thing
