chromecast double audio when casting pc screen to tv

When casting my pc screen to my tv using chromecast I am recieving double audio from both my pc and my tv and muting on or lowering the volume on my pc is not fixing the issue. I would like for the audio to just be playing through my tv. How can I fix this?

Hi Leomcgl70,

Thanks for reaching out. When you cast your screen, the audio might play on your computer. To play the audio on your TV instead, cast the tab. See the steps below.

1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. At the top right, click More Cast.
3. Click Sources click Cast screen.
4. Choose the Chromecast device you want to cast your screen on
