Hi All,
How is Google going to handle the below situation where users are paying for both. Seems like people will be getting double billed/scammed.
To me it looks like the accounts page or billing portal has not been updated to consider the above situation.
To complicate it further, my family member has the Google one AI Pro that has shared it with me. However I am the home owner and the subscriber to the Nest Aware /Google Home Premium. The billing portal has me renewing on 10/10/2025 so I have now canceled it to see what I can do about the situation. Just a shame I will need to restart my familiar face library and lose 30days of history.

I'm in the same situation. Is there any way to merge these without cancelling and losing history?

I have similar/related situation. I already have Google Home Premium subscription and am interested to get Google AI Pro (2TB). I believe that comes with Google Home Premium. I do not need to pay for both account right? How should I handle this it? Thanks

I am in the same situation and it is so confusing! I have the Google 1 (2TB) plan currently, but I have the Google Home Premium ADVANCED plan separately. If I upgrade my Google 1 plan to the Google AI PRO (2TB), it looks like it only comes with Google Home Premium Standard (not advanced)? You cannot get Advanced? It is soooo confusing!!!

Hi all,
Thanks for reaching out to the community. I apologize for the confusion caused by the recent changes to our subscriptions, including the Google One plan and the Nest Aware being renamed Google Home Premium. I understand how concerning this must be, especially since you don't want to be charged incorrectly or pay for duplicate service, and you are concerned about losing your Familiar Faces library and video history. I appreciate the detailed information you’ve shared, and I'd be more than glad to share more details with you.
If you’re already subscribed to the Standard plan of Google Home Premium, you must apply the entitlement from Google One to the same Home structure with your existing subscription. This automatically cancels and refunds your existing Google Home Premium subscription. This will help you avoid being double-charged for similar services. To ensure you don't lose anything important, please take the time to save any necessary information, such as clips from your video history, before you proceed with the cancellation.
Also, please keep in mind that the features provided through the Google One plan are the Google Home Premium Standard benefits for your Nest Camera service and not the Advanced features that may have been included in your existing Google Home Premium subscription. To get the Advanced plan of Google Home Premium, you must purchase it as an add-on. Even if you update your Google One plan, you will still receive the Standard tier of features for your Nest Camera. Please visit the following helpful article to learn more about how to activate a Google Home Premium or Fitbit Premium subscription with Google One.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Cheers,
Jonathan

The "youtube premium add-on" is an add-on for google one ( https://support.google.com/googleone/answer/15808277 ). It gets me youtube premium for $11.99 instead of $13.99 it looks like (with AI pro as part of google one, I'm pretty sure).

Hi @RaymondL,
Thanks for your reply, and I know this must be confusing. No worries, I'd be more than glad to answer all your questions.
I hope this information answers all your questions!

What I found out today is you can only have one add-on. If you have the youtube premium add-on already, you cannot get the home premium advanced add-on, if there is such an add-on.
