Nest moved to Google

I paid for the Nest subscription, it went up to over 100 bucks, Then Nest moved to Google assistant. After taking my money, the doorbell never showed on the nest app ,Only the Hub. So what am I paying for?

I feel we should have been given the option to except this before being charged.

Since I was charged , then Google took away the service.

I understand how frustrating it is to see a price increase for your subscription only to find your Nest Doorbell missing from the Nest app, especially when it still appears on your Nest Hub. I appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and I’m happy to help you get this sorted out.

To assist you further, please clarify the following:

  • What model of Nest Doorbell do you have? (Here is a helpful article to identify the type of Nest Doorbell).
  • When you sign in to your account, are you able to see the Nest Doorbell within the Google Home app?
  • If you go to Settings > Nest Aware in the Google Home app, does it show your subscription as active?
