Nest moved to Google

I paid for the Nest subscription, it went up to over 100 bucks, Then Nest moved to Google assistant. After taking my money, the doorbell never showed on the nest app ,Only the Hub. So what am I paying for?

I feel we should have been given the option to except this before being charged.

Since I was charged , then Google took away the service.

Hi J10,

Thank you for posting in the community. I'm sorry to hear that your Nest Doorbell is not showing up on your Nest app, only on your Hub. I understand how frustrating it may be that your doorbell doesn't work after seeing the price change, but I appreciate all the details and feedback shared from your side about having the option to except before any changes. No worries. I'll be glad to help you.

To assist you further, please clarify the following:

  • What model of Nest Doorbell do you have? (Here is a helpful article to identify the technical specs for Google Nest cameras and doorbells).
  • When you sign in to your account, are you able to see the Nest Doorbell within the Google Home app?
  • If you go to Settings > Nest Aware in the Google Home app, does it show your subscription as active?

Please keep me posted on your findings.

Regards,

Byron
