My Nest thermostat has a day of history missing and some other days have
an inconsistent record where the detail shows more heating time than at
the summary level
My schedule is set to 20c at 6pm…..today preheating began at 2pm and has
reached 20 by 3.15pm……much too early. Why is it so poor at maintaining
the schedule?
I have received a replacement from Google which works fine. We tried
many “fixes” but nothing worked, so the original Nest must have
developed a fault. thanks
We have been away , thermostat has been ok for about a week but went

I assume the powered base unit we have provided the constant power to
the thermostat…..otherwise it has no proper purpose. I am thinking the
problem is most likely wireless interference. Not sure what changed for

Mark, the power level is fine , well over 3.7v. It is consistently
around 3.9v as I mentioned above. the thermostat is continually
connected to the mains via the base unit, no C wire. it is around 6
metres from the router
