Can the Nest Learning Thermostat Gen 1 battery expire, and so require
the full thermostat to be replaced? It ran now, and then did not seem to
hold a charge as it should.
Is the Nest Learning thermostat baseplate for Gen 1 and Gen 3
interchangeable?If I have a Gen 1 installed, and upgrade to Gen 3, can I
simply swap out the face? Or do I need to install & rewire the new Gen 3
