After a power outage, Nest thermostat was showing room temp at 78, but room was 69. HVAC tech came out and confirmed furnace was okay and Nest showed room temp 7 degrees warmer than actual. After a few days of that, needed AC as weather got warmer......

Yes, charged new Gen3 plate. Also tried reinstalling Gen2 and got same error! Not sure how to attach photo, but have yellow wire to Y1, blue to Y2, black to Rc, red to Rh, and white to W1… same set up as before.

I've just experienced the same issue. Had service come out to check system - it's okay. At first, Nest showed a room temp 7 degrees warmer than actual (tech confirmed with his own thermometer and system readings). That helped with heat. Two days late...
