In the 3rd gen app, what is meant by size when telling the app about my
house. Does it look for the ground floor sq ft/mtr, or a combination of
sq ft/m of each floor?
I have set up a second phone which can be seen on Google Home. When I
try and set up Nest on 2nd phone it says go to thermostat setting and
find entry key. When I go to the correct screen on the thermostat it
doesn't show me an entry key. It did show...
I'm sticking with 3rd gen I already have which is two years old. Fully
expect that when it fails will go, Nest won't be available so having to
look for best alternative at the time and expect to have to install from
scratch.
I here from my local heating engineer, Nest thermostat is stop being
supported in the UK in 2025, so when it breaks there will no spares to
replace. Start looking for an alternative, I guess.
Hi thankyou, I think I have sorted out the problem. The thermostat was
only set to come on one hour twice a day. I read when the thermostat is
in legionella protection mode it needs the system to heat for at least
two consecutive hours every 48 hours...
Hi the issue is as far as I can see I can add someone in Google home who
can control heating, but when the registered phone leaves the property
the thermometer goes into eco mode.
