The 2nd gen doorbell is most of the time not connected I had the nest doorbell and I never had any connection problems but the battery went dead in that doorbell so I upgraded to the 2nd gen. It will notified me everytime but can't connect for video....

No I had not. Been very busy the last 3 months. I'll try to get it done when I'm off of work. Thanks for reminding me to do it. I actually forgot about it.

Then it should effect all of my best camera. But it does not. I never had this problem with the original nest doorbell. This started with the new doorbell. I thinking the wifi antenna is not as good.

Not sure about the status light. It's about 20 to 30 ft away from my wifi pod and yes I have 2 other nest cameras connected to it. and it's on 5 GHz.
