Thermostat just keeps trying to connect so I can't get to the settings

The only resolution has been is to replace the thermostat and its Heat Link which I have now done!

I have a blinking blue light on the Heat Link and moved the thermostat with 3 ft of the Heat Link but its still fails to pair. It has worked for about 4 years!
